Mr. & Mrs. Richardson

I'm Linda, a 41-year old wife and mother who chose to kick an administrative career to the curb to be a stay-at-home-mom to my son, Adler, and twin daughters, Sophia and Samantha. For the majority of my adult life, I was convinced (both medically and personally) that I would never be afforded the opportunity to have children, so I take on my new role as Mommy-in-Chief with great pride and enthusiasm. Convinced that it is simultaneously the most rewarding and arduous job that one could have, I've made a commitment to chronicle my Motherhood Journey with all the verve, intensity and passion that I possess as a writer.

I live happily with my wonderful husband, three very young children, and a Bengal cat (who was recently demoted) in Arkansas, a deep south state in the U.S. My husband has good-naturedly and willingly provided me with the ability to stay at home with our children, and I'm blessed with the luxury of having a full-time retired, widowed, sage-of-a-grandfather (my dear Dad!) as a helper on most days. As a family, our days and nights are filled with all the frenzied chaos that three kids under 2 years old can muster up, and there is never, EVER a dull moment.

As new parents, my husband and I have vowed to keep both our sanity and sense of humor intact while we help our children grow into what we hope are remarkably happy, healthy and humble human beings. As a result of our Be-Awesome-Parents-Pledge, we've decided to roll up our sleeves, let down our hair, and take all the punches parenting has to throw at us with patience, panache and a positive vibe. I hope you enjoy reading the narratives I put forth as much as I enjoy sharing them. All Aboard The Parenting Train will prove to be a wild, bumpy ride as we navigate through constant joy, occasional peril, and more than a heaping dose of humor.
